Remote & Onsite contracts provide a complete peace of mind service to ensure your computer support contract covers all computer, laptop, networking device and server technical issues within your business. Both remote and onsite assistance with problems are unlimited use. Protec ensures we have remote access to all of these units to provide instant support.

This agreement includes a FREE 25 point monthly onsite systems health check by one of our Microsoft qualified consultants.

What does the contract cover?

Protec’s standard Remote & Onsite contract can cover your computers, laptops, servers, networking devices, routers and firewalls.

What’s the minimum contract length?

Protec doesn’t believe in tying clients into lengthy agreements, our contracts are monthly rolling agreements which allow you to cancel at anytime. All we ask it that each month is paid for in advance of the support to be supported. It’s that simple.

What happens when we get a problem?

Once you’re a Protec client you’ll have access to our online call logging system for non-urgent calls. Alternatively you can email your request to helpdesk@protecit.co.uk where is will automatically log the call for you and respond with a ticket number. With this contract a consultant will hook-in remotely to your system and diagnose and repair the problem. If a site visit is required it will be clear with you before we attend site.

What response times does this offer?

If your issue is urgent it is 4 hours, non urgent it’s 24 hours.

What about if we need a site visit?

If you require a site visit to perform a repair that can’t be achieved remotely Protec arrange a site visit with you and attend at the next convenient time.

What’s Live Monitoring do?

Live Monitoring allows our helpdesk team to keep an eye on your systems security and performance ensuring that problems are attended before they impact your business. Our helpdesk will also perform monthly remote maintenance on your systems to ensure optimum performance from your IT infrastructure.

How quick can we get started?

After an initial visit by an engineer to work out which items you require covering you’ll be presented with a quote for support. Once this is signed off and your first payment is received (you can even pay instantly by credit card) we can begin supporting your network.
